Reading

It only takes a pair of eyes to see that the world is burning, and some cultural background certainly helps. Here are my favorite sources:

Books. Haven’t read much since high school, and back then it was Eliade, Foucault, Freud, Hemingway, Jung, Kant, Nietzsche, Plato, Tolstoy, and the apostles. There’s probably some truth, in what these guys are saying.

Wikipedia. You can’t go wrong with it, there is just so much useful information there. Old history, old science, WW1, Quantum mechanics, WW2, Astrophysics, Cold War, current world affairs, all this well done.

Youtube. Quite amazing, the number of things over there. Unlike most of the mainstream websites, which are subject to censorship and indoctrination, Youtube remains a haven of free speech, and information.

Twitter. Nothing better than them, for a customized news outlet. If you follow enough individuals and websites, by the time you scroll down you have plenty of new tweets coming in, and it’s endless, if you want it to.

Reddit. So many websites where you can waste your time, when you’re tired, and this is the best of them all. Reddit is to jokes, memes, and weird info in general, what Twitter is to politics, number 1 hands down.
