I’m teaching math at Cergy, as per the standard French system, 8 hours/week, for 2×12 weeks. In recent years I’ve been mostly teaching:

  • Calculus
  • Linear algebra
  • Functional analysis

I’m currently writing a book, Linear algebra and group theory, as part of my research projects, which will be accessible to undergrads.

Previous teaching

I’ve been teaching since 1994, at Paris, Berkeley, Toulouse, Cergy, pretty much all types of courses, and in particular, and quite often:

  • Probability
  • Statistics
  • Fourier analysis
  • Differential equations
  • Abstract algebra
  • Measure theory
  • Optimization
  • Dynamical systems
  • Operator algebras

Students, and myself too, tend to like probability/statistics. I have a book in preparation here, Methods of classical and free probability.
